Cuban economy is opening up more and more to trades with foreign countries, reporting a growth of 6,5% only in the last year in comparison to 2013.

Starting from November 2013 on Cuba is going to be the main actor in a commercial turn around unique in the last 50 years of history: the creation of a FREE TRADE ZONE.
Until now the ship seizure and the Helmes-Burton's law ( forbidding forbids the international ships to dock in American ports if having landed in a Cuban port during the last six months) have forbidden Cuba to develop commercially the similar way of the other Caribbean countries, maintaining an undefined and narrow-minded behavior with regards to the overseas markets.
