A NEW PARTNERSHIP BETWEEN MSC AND A.P. MOLLER IN SANTOS

At the end of August 2013, in the port of Santos the new container Brasil Terminal was officially launched, which was created thanks to the collaboration between Investment Limites (shipping group MSC) and APM Terminal (shipping group A.P. Moller).

The new terminal, with an extension of 490.000 mq and a capacity of 1.2 million TEUs, has 8 ship-to-shore cranes which are placed from 1108 m of dock and capable of sorting 3 container ships of 9200 TEUs each at the same time.

IFA handles several orders to Santos (container 20 refeer, 40 hc reefer, 40 flat rack, 40 goods in gauge and of out gauge) together with other countries of South America. Just for Santos and other destinations in South America IFA is applying special discounts for December 2013 and January 2014 :

From the port of Livorno to the ports of Santos, Rio de Janeiro and Buenos Aires:

800 euros for the 20dc container

1700 euros for the 40dc container
