The new structure built on a total area of 11,000 square meters and with a slaughtering capacity of 130,000 head of cattle per year will aim to boost domestic production of beef in the country in order to increase the level of self-sufficiency through the ' acquisition of local raw materials and the marketing distribution in Russian channels (such as catering and retail). At the same time two farms will also be set up - feedlot in Oremburg and in the region of Tartastan to enhance the value of production of cattle breeding and of dairy beef. Other major investments concern transport for which were announced over 325 new projects mainly concerning transport by rail worth 969 billion dollars and also 39 projects involving air and sea transport , mainly funded by public and private consortia.
